Camp & Retreat Ministries “Fill the Ship” 2023

Starting Monday, March 27th, we’re launching into our spring 2023 fundraising season specifically for campership funds. Stay tuned for a variety of matching opportunities and other special events all designed to “Fill our Ship!” Our goal is to raise 81 (full or partial) camperships this year for a total of $40,000 and there are a few ways to give. Please read below for details!

We know camp times mean FUN, exploration, and community connection. We also know camp allows young and older people to practice and hone 21st-century skills. Skills such as critical thinking, collaboration, problem-solving, and so much more!

We also know camp offers real, in-person experiences in nature. These experiences serve to soothe an overly anxious and depressed population. Time in creation, surrounded by a loving community, offers healing to folks burdened by stress, the pressures of social media, and the overwhelming tether of technology.

Still, with inflation where it is and the unstable economic situation, more families need support to make what we offer possible. As we look to the first “normal” summer after years of COVID, we anticipate the increased need for financial support for the families we serve.

Only dedicated folks like YOU can help “fill our ship” with the financial resources needed to make camp possible for our 2023 campers and families and help us meet our goal and continue to offer camp experiences to children, youth and young adults from across our region!
