What might a typical day at camp look like??
Every camp is a little different- but a typical day most likely will include:
-Worship with singing, scripture, prayer and a fun way to hear about God’s loves
-Group Time where we find creative and fun ways to talk about God
-All of our “Classic” camps will do a small, age-appropriate act of service for the camp to help build ownership and community within our camp.
-Some cabin/rest time
-Afternoon activities, these could be anything from archery, cooking, games, crafts, tie-dye, hiking, 9 square in the air, gaga ball and so much more!
-Evening programs, these could be could be dance night, game night, movie night, talent show, Gold Rush night…
-Campfire that will include, but is not limited to- siging, skits, stories, prayer and a chance to be under the stars! We try to give every camper oppoutunites to help lead at campfire.

This, our first step toward reopening is small but meaningful. Time in nature brings joy, peace, and allows us to find a new perspective. We know that God calls us to experience creation as a means of experiencing our beloved Creator and we’re sure that days set apart at our camps will be a salve for your soul!
We hope that families all over the Desert Southwest can find respite in these day hikes and we are thrilled to make this move while we are living in the COVID era. Our thoughts and prayers are with each of you as we figure this out together.
